Dan
Weingartner has over ten years of professional experience working
in the entertainment and music industries. Dan is a graduate of
Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he studied
Music Synthesis. Throughout his entire professional career, Dan
has been focused on music production and computer technology integration
into the art. Whether it was the primary focus of his employment,
or a constant ongoing side-love, Dan has been honing his production
skills of pop music. Initially employed by a premier Boston area
music equipment distribution company, Dan spent several years
specializing in the implementation of high tech recording and
synthesis equipment. His broad base technical skills and exposure
to cutting edge recording technology landed Dan a job in 1999
as the keyboard technician for former New Kid On the Block, 'Joey
McIntyre'. After touring with Joe, Dan was offered the opportunity
to return to Berklee College of Music as a Lab Technician in the
very same synthesis labs where he trained. While at Berklee, Dan
continued his private production efforts including forming a partnership
in early 2001 to start the production of BabyBaby. His 2001 production
efforts, as well as his position at Berklee, were interrupted
when Dan was offered a position as "keyboard tech" with
Britney Spears. Dan spent the latter part of 2001 and the better
part of 2002 touring with Britney on her two-part "Dream
Within A Dream" tour. Dan also toured with Britney internationally
and was a technician on several of her live network broadcasts.
Since the Britney tour ended Dan has been producing full time
out of his Brookline, Massachusetts home studio.
Dan
is a native of North Kingstown, Rhode Island and the sixth child
in a family of seven children. Dan's hobbies include music,
music, and music.
